NIGERIAN ARTISTS NOMINATED FOR THE 26TH MOBO AWARDS..... FULL LIST!

Nigerian artists, Davido, Burna Kid, and Wizkid with five other Nigerian artistes have been nominated for the impending MOBO awards, a yearly festival perceiving greatness in "music of dark black origin" in the UK.

MOBO spread the word about this in a statement shared on its X record on Thursday.

The announcement likewise revealed that Adekunle Gold, Asake, Ayra Starr, Burna Kid, Davido, Rema, and Wizkid are contenders in the Best African Music Act category.

Moreover, Nigerian gospel artist, Samuel Onwubiko, otherwise known as Limoblaze, was likewise nominated for the Best Gospel Act category.

Last year, nine Nigerian artistes got nominated for African act of the Year, including Burna Kid, Adekunle Gold, Tems, Asake, Rema, Oxlade, Omah Lay, and Fireboy DML.

The 26th edition of the awards is scheduleed to occur at the Utilita Field Sheffield on February 7, 2024.
