Grammy-winning singer, Tems (Temilade Openiyi, has denied saying Nigerian music lacks “spirituality.”

 

A music buff with the Twitter handle, @musicbaseafrica had claimed that the artist in her new meeting with American rapper, Kendrick Lamar, expressed that she was unable to connect with Nigerian music since it “sounded so plain and basic, and there was nothing spiritual about it.”
